J is a functional shareware programming language
available via anonymous ftp at watserv1.waterloo.edu.
Features include list-at-a-time processing, arrays of arrays,
complex numbers, special features for multiplying polynomials,
manipulating sets and generating permutations. Although it
provides support for numerical modeling, it is not a numerical
modeling package. It is a general purpose programming language.
J was designed and developed by Ken Iverson and Roger Hui.
It is similar to the language APL, departing from APL in using
using the ASCII alphabet exclusively, but employing a spelling
scheme that retains the advantages of the special alphabet
required by APL. It has added features and control structures
that extend its power beyond standard APL.
Although it can be used as a conventional procedural programming
language, it can also be used as a pure functional programming
language.
J is similar to the programming language A used at Morgan Stanley.
A is not commerically available.
J is portable and runs on : Acorn Archimedes, AT&T 3B1,
Apple Macintosh family, Atari ST, DECstation (MIPS-based),
DEC VAX (ULTRIX & BSD), Interactive 386/ix, IBM RISC/6000,

Amiga curses library versie 2.10.
This now has gnu.mk for use with gcc and includes curse.lib which can be used
with SASC6 and libcurses.a for use with gcc.
I am sure that there are problems in this. I am releasing it to see if there is
still interest in this library. If so I will continue to improve it. I have
started the Amigaguide docs but they are not included in this release. Also the
termcap/terminfo stuff is not complete or fulley tested. This is because I was
not sure if anyone wanted it!

Zoekt door C source voor dependencies tbv makefile.
This is a port of makedepend, a sophisticated makefile dependency examiner. I
found this little tool within the distribution of ET++, an application
framework, running on UNIX.
makedepend scans C sources like a C preprocessor and evaluates #define, #undef
#ifdef... directives to determine all necessary include files. The result is
appended to a specially prepared makefile automatically.
Don't flame me for the horribly ugly programming style - I have just made all
necessary changes to get it work with SAS/C 6.50.

First: What is it and what can I do with it ?
It's a new startup code for the gcc version 2.2.2 or above
(to recompile you need version 2.5.8 or adjust the makefiles).
And as you can think a new startup code needs also a new libc - which I've not
written yet :-(. Therefore I thought I should ask first if it's worth writing a
new one just to get some features you don't get with normal startup and
ixemul.library. (Please email me)
Features (What you get):
* _main and _exit entry as you know from other compilers
* SAS compatible handling of WBStartup message (tell me if it's not)
* auto-library-open feature
(yes, it's working even without constructors i.e. for _main and _exit).
* only those libc-modules actually used get linked into your executable. This
means also their initialization and shutdown routines.
(but only a few ANSI-features implemented yet)
* And as a summary: very short
(you can compile and link a amiga-only hello.world in about 1/2 K).
Misfeatures (i.e. missing features):
* No ANSI-functions except a few
* No C++ support.
* Requires KS 2.0.
Summary:
As long as you write only amiga-specific programs
(of course all programs needing a auto-library-open feature are amiga-specific)
and don't need much ANSI-support this can be your choice.

This is libnix - a static (i.e. link) library for the Amiga version of gcc.
It's written as an alternative to ixemul.library for better Amiga support
(while ixemul.library is very neat for porting Un*x applications - first of all
gcc itself ;-) ).
This is the second "official" release. It doesn't contain many enhancements
over e.g. the libnix supplied with gcc2.6.3. But since the binary archives of
gcc don't come with libnix source code (btw. libnix is Public Domain) it was
time again to release it.
Important:
The libnix archive is the only place where you can find the libnix source. If
you're interested in our sources you will have to download this archive. On the
other hand: If you aren't interested in sources you will not need it.

Oberon-A is a freely-distributable Oberon-2 compiler. Oberon-2 is a modern
object-oriented language designed by Niklaus Wirth, the creator of Pascal and
Modula-2, and Hanspeter Mössenböck. Oberon-A is an implementation of the
language for the Amiga computer, ported from a compiler written by Niklaus
Wirth.
The archive contains the compiler, a pre-link utility, a linker (BLink), error

documentation is in AmigaGuide and plain ASCII formats. A text editor is *not*

This archive is NOT the complete Oberon-A distribution. You must also obtain

This is v2.35 of the freeware ACE BASIC compiler and is the first of what I
expect will be a series of small updates to the ACE distribution in the next

Work and post-graduate study are keeping me very busy right now. As a

sourcefile (or reverse-engineering generated sourcefile) and insert code to
check memory access.
It consists of a source parser and a linking library. There is english & french
version of that software included.
It's my first release, and that tool has not been tested a lot. But it works
anyway with my files :-).
It is build for DICE compiler, but it should work with any other compiler (not
tested). Anyway, you can rebuild the linking library to suit your compiler
needs.

Amiga Little Smalltalk version 3.04. A port of Timothy Budd's version 3 of
Little Smalltalk. The first port of version 3 to the Amiga (that I know of)
was by Dan Griffin. This port adds to that one the use of Guido van Rossum's
Standard Windows library to provide a simple ANSI character and escape code
based windowing facility. This allows Amiga Little Smalltalk to include a
class/method browser and an integrated text editor. Although the windowing
facility is a bit slow, it makes this version a much better learning tool than
previous ports.

This archive contains the Assembler PhxAss V4.18 and the Linker
PhxLnk V4.17.

PhxAss V4.18 is a highly optimizing macro assembler for Motorola's 680x0
CPUs, 6888x FPUs and 68851 MMU (of course, the 030, 040 and 060 MMUs are
also supported). It requires OS2.04 (V37) and 1 MB RAM as minimum.
Most important features:
o Fast: 15000-30000 lines per minute with standard Amigas, 50000-350000
with A4000/040.
o Resident.
o Symbolic and Source Level Debugging.
o Automatic generation of executables (if possible).
o Creates relocatable Amiga-DOS objects or absolute code (written into
a file (raw or Motorola S-Format), into memory or directly onto disk).
o Small Code and Small Data support (also support for __MERGED sections).
o Listing file, Cross Reference Listing, Equates file.
o Complete floating point support: You may use complex floating point
expressions, including float functions (sine, logarithm, square root,
power, etc.), everywhere in your source, e.g. defining float EQUates or
SETs.
o Switches for nine different optimizations.
o Locale symbols (xxx$ and .xxx type).
o Up to 36 macro parameters.
o Support for Motorola's old and new operand style (even in 68000 mode).
o locale.library usage (english, german, swedish, italian, danish and
french ).
o Nearly all directives of the most popular assemblers like Seka, DevPac or
AS (Aztec) are supported. Example: INCBIN, INCDIR, CODE_C, REPT, RS,
RSRESET, EQUR, REG, OFFSET, XDEF, XREF, PUBLIC, ...
o Further development and support is guaranteed for years, because I'll
*never* change my system (Amiga forever!).
o Finally: Although Shareware, there are no disabled functions in PhxAss!
You will find four different versions of PhxAss in this distribution:
1. PhxAss: The standard 680x0,FPU,MMU macro assembler.
2. SmallPhxAss: This is a 68000-only version without floating point support.
3. FreePhxAss: This program is FREEWARE! It is intended for developers of
PD-Compilers, who want to include PhxAss in their compiler package.
4. GigaPhxAss: Identical to PhxAss, but source codes are not limited to
65535 lines. Quite useful for assembling huge Reassembler outputs.

o As a result of improvements in V4.15, the OPT-parameter didn't work. :(
o MOVE16 didn't work with absolute addresses less than $8000.

680x0/6888x amiga macro assembler.
SNMA is freeware conditional 680x0/688x macro assembler for the Amiga. It
supports most common directives, generates Amiga object-files and/or
executables. It is used mainly from the shell. Arexx port. AmigaOS 2.0+ only.
