TrapDoor 1.84 - release 1 juli 1994.
TrapDoor is de nummer 1 mailer voor de Amiga. Dit is de nieuwste versie,
verbeteringen sinds 1.83:
× added logging of callerID, see LOGCALLERID keyword.
× added (NO)KEEPALL and (NO)KEEPXMAIL commands.
× added rexx commands VERSION and @VERSION.
× execute external commands during the turnaround phase: TURNAROUND keyword.
× configure dial timeout yourself: DIALTIMEOUT keyword.
× select which font and screenmode with USESYSFONT and DISPLAYID keywords.
× If no COLO(U)RS statement is present, TrapDoor will open its screen
using the Workbench colours.
× added "TrapZap" protocol, (NO)TRAPZAP keyword.
× allowed "TESTFREQ" as a Rexx keyword.
× restructuring: (NO)UNLISTEN and (NO)LISTEN. now also return rexx result.
× (NO)USEUSERSHELL selectx default system or user shell
for spawning external commands.
× added (NO)ZOOMFULLSIZE, controlling what the Zip-Gadget does.
× added (NO)ESCAPERESETSMODEM.
× added MODEMRESETINTERVAL ; configurable time between automatic
× added SCREENTOFRONT and SCREENTOBACK (asynch execution possible).
× added SERIALBUFSIZE ; configurable serial buffer.
× added (NO)STRIPDASHES for modems that don't grok '-' in dial strings.
× added VOICESTRING and VOICECOMMAND; now detects voice connects.
× file transfer Errors will now be counted and the total count logged.
× added detection of the Hydra protocol to YooHoo and EMSI. Note that the
Hydra protocol itself is not implemented yet, but TrapDoor can detect when
other systems offer Hydra and display this.
× added support for OwnDevUnit.library.
× new banner sending, hopefully a bit faster.
× recompiled everything with the new shiny SAS/C 6.51 compiler.
× transmits timestamps for outgoing Zmodem files.
× stores incoming timestamps in "Time" filenote tags of received files.
× clears Execute-bit on received files.
× increased number of supported AKAs to 40.
× new/improved STATUS result codes:
STATUS N -- returns the nodenumber of the last session.
STATUS U -- returns UNLISTEN or LISTEN depending what mode TD is in.
STATUS X -- there are more possible return codes (see the manual)
For asynchroneous execution of the @STATUS S and @CALL commands,
the following new result codes are also applicable:
"CLOSED" -- serial device is closed (because of OwnDevUnit)
"SPAWNING" -- an external command is currently being spawned
× new/improved percent commands:
%C -- replaced by the complete CONNECT string
%a -- passes a single AKA of the remote system, one after
the other for each occurrance of %a
%A -- passes the whole AKA list as one string, separating
entries by spaces.
%S -- Sysopname; now also works in the AfterSession command,
the new TurnAround command, and other places.
× More consistent locking of the extra database.
× restarts DROPBBSSECS timeout when Emsi handshake is received.
× better error logging for all spawn commands.
× REXXNAME can no longer be changed once TrapDoor has started.
× PubScreenName can now be 31 characters long.
× fixed a typo with the HXT emsi link code. ForbidXMail should now work
× Emsi no longer crashes when a subfield is longer than 512 bytes.
× fixed Enforcer Hits before sending file.
× fixed bug with bumping of filenames longer than 27 characters.
× CONNECT/ARQ should now be correctly parsed.
× "verbose" deleting of files marked with "^" in the .FLO file.
× slightly better internal handling of password errors in FTS-1.
× beautified FTS-1 status display a little.
× fixed SHOWREXX bug
× really fixed SHOWREXX bug.
× fixed accidential sending of .REQ files on incoming calls -- I hope.
× Prepared zmodem receiver for possible implementation of timestamping
of received files.
× 1st .PKT in FTS-1 sessions no longer gets From 0:0/0.0 tag.
× default accounting limits were wrong. fixed.
× fixed some spurious enforcer hits.
× fixed: WRAPLINES could cause Gurus if window was too small.
× recompiled with correct CheckIO() prototype.
× changed all occurrances of strtoul() to new replacement functions;
strtoul() seems to be the culprit for the long standing crash bug.
× made sure logfile is flushed when waiting in answer mode,
even with high levels of modem logging.
× some people complained that TrapDoor was detecting
"RINGING" for "RING" in answer mode. fixed.
× BBSMessage will be correctly displayed even when
the user presses Return several times.
× Filenote tagging now escapes semicolons.
× "Name" tag will now hit the correct files when sending.
× embedded percent commands: two % characters will now yield one % in
the output string.
× parse NO ANSWER result from the modem and
return status code 22 instead of 21.
× now parses ERROR return from modem more exactly,
as well as BUSY and VOICE.
× fixed crash if .FLO file contains garbage; added "invalid flow file"
× if a file listed in a .FLO file doesn't exist, DietIfna sessions
will now continue to send the remaining files.
× now suppresses display of superfluous handshakes.
optionally displays "redundant handshake" warning messages.
× added fix for "Name" tagging. TrapDoor will only tag outgoing files
under the following conditions:
- file is an .?UT file
- file is listed in a .?LO file and there is a special
character (one of "-^#@" in front of the name)
× does not crash anymore when trying to log too many AKAs;
Instead, it now creates multiple "AKA:" log lines.
× enhanced ring detection: "RING" or "RING #?".
- traplist.library, TrapList, and other utilities:
× recompiled everything with the new shiny SAS/C 6.51 compiler.
× fixed internal version string in TrapList.
× minor bugfixes in traplist.library.

It is built to help FidoNet node operators in the maintenance

New to version 1.2
The program now reads a config file to get the data it needs for
running the script. This is to enable it to be expanded in even
greater detail for future versions. The script is not fool proof
so messsing up the config file can screw it up just a bit ;)
I'll have it totally idiot proof next time.
You'll probably want to edit the script to change some of the
paths etc, and the config file too, but keep the data in the
same format as the default specifies. It's all remarked so you
know what each option does.
This version will let you send any number of default files you
specify in the config file - Although I wouldn't go overboard
due to the space for requestor size needed etc.. It also has
the hate mail option hard written into the script which let's
you send either a default slating message which you can edit
yourself, or a random one of how many you like which are named
hate.1, hate.2 etc.. You can have as many as you like of these
too, but you'll need to have the actuall files there, or you'll
get nowhere. It's basic enough to play around with as it stands,
and I've killed all the silly bugs I've found so far. You'll
have to wait until I totally foolproof the system if you want to
really customise it without knowing Arexx yourself I'm afraid.
That's about it. Enjoy.. Comments as usual to 2:254/255.0 name

FidoNet tosser/editor for all Amiga points (with WB 2.0+)
(C) 1993-1994 Nico Francois
Spot 1.3a is a maintenance update to Spot 1.3. Bugs and quirks that were found
in Spot 1.3 have been fixed. Several new and updated ARexx scripts have been
added to the distribution.
There are no real new features, expect maybe one: a great new icon! :-)

* Fully localized (Workbench 2.1 or higher).
* Style Guide compliant.
* Supports all current and future monitor modes.
* Completely font-sensitive, user may select which fonts to use.
* Keyboard shortcuts for most menus and gadgets.

(Some of these features are only available in the registered version)
Spot has been tested on nearly every Amiga model, including an A500 and an
A4000/040. A harddisk and at least 1MB of RAM are strongly recommended. At
least Workbench 2.0 is required, Workbench 2.1 or 3.0 for locale support.

Fido-MSG-Base Reader/Writer (Foozle compatible) works w. StdIn/StdOut.
This package allows sysops to include their Foozle (or compatible) - Tosser
styled messagebases into the BBS. All you need is a tosser that uses *.MSG
style messagebases and a BBS that runs doors via StdIn/StdOut.
The user can browse through the given message-directory, read single messages,
reply to them in echo or via NetMail - or of course post a message himself. A
*.MSG-File is generated according to Foozle.techref so all the sysop has to do
after calling MSGRead is to rescan the used area and export.

FidoNet <-> AmigaUUCP gateway programma.
Basically AmiGate will convert your UUCP news/emails into FidoNet
echomail/netmail and the other way around. That's it.
Short feature list:
o Public or private gating.
o Fully FidoNet FTS/FSC compliant.
o Direct support for DLG user.data.
o Mailing list -> Echomail conversion.
o Crossposting can be ignored (Eg. only posted to the first matching area.)
o MIME-support (also for quoted-printable).
o Will not post to moderated areas but instead send email to moderator.
o FidoNet bouncing. Will inform sender if something goes wrong.
o Optional accounting for emails.
o Total customization of how to port the headers in UUCP messages.
Even if you don't have a FidoNet address, using it together with Spot (a very

Rock v1.3a - Fidonet mailer voor points.
Rock, is one of the smallest Point mailers available for the Amiga.
It's written using the WPL and Arexx languages.
This is version 1.3a, update to 1.3.
Rock is based upon POP, the world's smallest mailer, by Denis Turcotte,
and on JAZ v1.01 by Robert Williamson (for the rock.rexx script).
Rock is pretty easy to install and to configure, is not memory and disk
space hungry, and allows to call the all the different phone numbers of
your boss if the line is busy.
For calls to other systems than the boss, it can make use of the nodelist
if you already have installed the traplist.library, otherwise it asks for
the phone number.
To keep things simple, the only available protocols are WAZOO for
negociation and ZEDZAP for file transfer.
An example configuration file (ROCK.cfg) and the related doc (RockCfg.doc)
Be sure to read Rock.DOC before trying anything else.

Transfer UUCP via Fido sessions
UUCP2TD scans the UUSpool directory of your usenet host for outgoing mail,
parses the local control files and bundles the mail into an archive which will
be added to a Fido FLO file.
If your mail feed has Usenet and Fido you'll need only to call one time to
receive both networks. Also the cps ratio of fido mailers is much better than
usenet ones. UUCP2TD cuts your telephone bill down.
